Audrey McDermott

Audrey joined Junonia Partners in 2026, bringing 20 years of experience in the alternative asset space.

Audrey spent the first 12 years of her career at a Dallas-based short-biased registered investment advisor, where she served as Controller, overseeing all aspects of hedge fund and SMA daily operations, including trade settlements, reconciliations, accounting, vendor management, and regulatory compliance. Audrey rejoined in 2023 as CFO/CCO following the firm’s re-launch.

From 2018-2021, Audrey served as Managing Director in the private equity division of Strait, a high-touch fund administration firm. During her time at Strait, she oversaw a variety of complex fund structures including hybrid funds, co-invest vehicles, and special purpose vehicles. She partnered closely with general partners, CFOs, and investment teams to deliver comprehensive fund administration solutions, including fund accounting, financial reporting, investor services, capital call and distribution processing, and regulatory support.

Additionally, she was CFO/CAO of Rocktop Technologies, LLC, a FinTech-enabled asset manager and data & analytics firm specializing in large pools of distressed residential mortgages. During her time at Rocktop, she re-engineered the accounting and financial planning & analysis functions, allowing for greater operational efficiency and enhanced reporting.
